Trekking in Kenya
Cross Mount Kenya and climb Lenana Peak 4,985m
This is a wonderful 6-day trek across Mount Kenya with scenery and vegetation from another world leading us to the summit of Lenana Peak (4,985m). It is the third highest summit on Mount Kenya and the only one that is accessible to non-technical expeditions. We are offering a fantastic trip staying in mountain huts or under canvas. This trek is not difficult but you need to be steady on your feet and very fit. From this trip amongst glaciers and lakes on the equator, you will take back amazing memories of the humid, tropical jungle to the ethereal solitude of the summit via swamps and giant heaths covered in strange plants that resemble dreamlike sentinels of the African gods.
We finish this trek with a foray into the famous Amboseli Park at the foot of Kilimanjaro on the Kenyan side. It is a kingdom where elephants and zebras, giraffes and gazelles live harmoniously together.
