Private Lessons with a high moinain guide

Its a flexible choice proposed by our ski school in Val d’Isère, chosen and loved by those that want to ski on their own with an instructor, or with a group of friends and family.
Taking a private instructor allows you adapt the pace and rhythm of the day to suit your mood.
Whether the aim is to discover the vast skiing domain, or to work on your technique or to discover the hidden secrets of the Tarentaise region, our instructors and guides are at your disposal to make your time skiing here unforgettable.
We accept a maximum of 6 skiers per group off-piste and up to 8 skiers on-piste.
Option with extra-cost, video analysis after the lesson.

Off-piste skiing weeks «All including» in Val d’Isère

This coming season, we will be offering several “all inclusive” off-piste and ski touring weeks based out of Val d’Isère.

During the 5 days of skiing, we will show you the most beautiful off-piste routes the Tarentaise Valley has to offer.

Every day, from Monday to Friday, you will meet your guide at 8.45am for a day’s off-piste skiing in the resorts of Val d’Isère and Tignes but also Sainte Foy, Les Arcs, La Plagne or La Rosière and Italy depending on the weather forecast and snow conditions. The day’s skiing will end at about 4.30–5pm.

To get away from the busy slopes and find the best snow, we often walk with skins from the top of the ski lifts for 30 minutes to an hour or more if the group wishes.

Accommodation will be half-board in one of the 3-star or 2-star hotels we work with in the centre of Val d’Isère.

If the group wishes, it will be possible, as an optional extra, to do one or two heli-drops on the Italian side.

Groups will consist of 6 people maximum.

At the beginning of the week, we will take the time to do an avalanche transceiver training exercise with the transceivers we provide you with if you do not have your own. You will also be able to watch a video presentation on snow and avalanches and on-snow safety over an aperitif one evening in our office.

Juniors

You are a very good on piste skier.
Reluctant to traditional teaching.
Looking for a "new school" spirit based on fun, feeling, gliding, jumps, snow park, off piste, freestyle backcountry.
Ready to tackle new technical challenges and master all terrains. You want to learn and respect the security rules of the mountain. Looking forward to an exciting and rewarding experience, unique in Val d'Isère !
6 juniors maximum per group
5 consecutive mornings courses, from monday to friday, from 9 am to 1 pm. School holidays only.

Telemark

Welcome to Val d'Isère's first dedicated Telemark school and guiding service.

We started our telemark school in 1999, our aim is to offer all telemarkers from the beginner to advanced, the same top quality tuition and guiding service that has made our reputation since 1976.

We have 9 members in our team who are telemarkers and have been trained to teach all levels from beginners to experts. First time telemarkers are taking advantage of our service to discover how much fun telemark is. Advanced telemarkers are particularly pleased to find out about us, our guides take them on the most exhilarating runs on and off piste in Val d'Isère, Tignes and in the Haute Tarentaise. Steep Slopes and Couloirs, Tele Touring with skins and Heliskiing are also on the program!
Both beginners and experts are thrilled that such a service exists in Val d'Isère and want to come back for more fun and more challenges in the future.

Our Telemark school is open from November 1st to May 15th, every year. The groups are limited to six. If we have a minimum of 4 telemarkers booked per group we're running the following programmes : Off piste safari, introduction to off piste, on piste. You also have the possibility to organise a group of friends for these programmes.

Evasion Program 08-09 - Ski touring

We are pleased to announce our programme as we go in search of fantastic skiing whilst also exploring new geographical and cultural surroundings.

You will notice that we have kept many of the favourites such as Bulgaria, the Italian Dolomites, touring in Morocco and Turkey, the “sea and ski” trips to Norway and Greenland and ours famous  heli-skiing weeks in Canada.

This season, we are also offering some new destinations with a ski touring trip in Spitzberg and an other one in Kashmir in the Indian Himalaya.

As last year, the prices indicated in this programme do not include airfares. However, to help you book your flights, we will give you all the information you need on the detailed itinerary and specification sheet. For those of you who are unable to book your own flights, we can always book your tickets for you if you request this, when we book ours. We must draw your attention to the fact that tickets are cheaper if booked well in advance and that prices rise as the departure date approaches. Therefore, to take advantage of lower fares and to be sure of travelling on the dates you require, we encourage you to book your seats as soon as possible if you decide to book a trip with us.

As usual, for the trips to Norway, Greenland and Spitzberg, we have pre-booked boats. As these are specially adapted to the region and the type of activities we do, they are in great demand. If we have not paid our deposit by the end of August, we will lose the option we have on the boats for the advertised weeks, which would jeopardise this year’s programme. Therefore, if you are interested in one of these trips, we urge you to contact us as soon as possible.

What is more, the likelihood of these trips going ahead and at the prices that we have quoted is based on a minimum number of participants. Therefore, if you are interested we encourage you to tell any friends whoshare your passion for this type of trip. This means that you will be able to enjoy your favourite activities with your friends and at the same time guarantee that your chosen trip goes ahead.

We have a detailed itinerary and specification sheet for each trip on offer that can be sent to you by email or
post.

ATTENTION: The content of the “Evasion Program” is offered by some of our High Mountain Guides and under their entire responsibilities.
