This winter, as we continue our search for great early-season snow and fantastic skiing, which is becoming more and more elusive in our Alpine ski resorts, and following the success of the 4 weeks which we ran in 2008 and 1 in 2009,we are inviting you to come and ski with us in Bulgaria.

This eastern country enjoys a continental climate. It is extremely cold in the winter which, when combined with the humidity of the Black Sea produces powder snow that we can only dream of here.

The resort of Bansko where we will be based is equipped with a dozen or so state-of-the-art ski lifts.

The summits around 3000m provide us with some really exciting descents.

The Alpine landscape offers beautiful touring from the top of the ski lifts and the large forests full of well spaced out trees provide us with guaranteed off-piste tree-skiing when the weather is bad.

What’s more, the reasonable prices in this country allow us to stay in a superb 4-star hotel in the resort.

Access is via Sofia, a 2-hour flight from London or Paris, then a 2-hour minibus transfer to Bansko.
