Outside the trips we are offering here, we are available for off-piste skiing, ski touring and heli-skiing in the Haute Tarentaise region, Val d’Isere, Tignes, Ste Foy Tarentaise, Les Arcs, La Plagne and La Rosiere. We also travel to ski in nearby areas such as Chamonix and La Grave as well as Italy and Switzerland.

Top Ski Ski School is specialised in off piste skiing, private guiding. The ski school was founded in 1976 in Val d'Isère and was the first independent ski school in France. Group off piste ski sessions

Each day, TopSki organises several off-piste group sessions in Val d’Isère.  Whether you are an intermediate or an expert off-piste skier, you will enjoy the atmosphere within the group whilst improving your technique and your knowledge of the mountains. Take advantage of the best snow in the area by joining a group that suits your level.

We accept a maximum of 6 skiers per group off-piste.

Private guiding and instruction in and around Val d’Isère

This is a flexible choice, chosen and loved by those that want to ski on their own with an instructor, or with a group of friends and family.
Taking a private instructor allows you to adapt the pace and rhythm of the day to suit your mood.
Whether the aim is to discover the vast skiing domain, or to work on your technique or to discover the hidden secrets of the Tarentaise region, our guides are at your disposal to make your time skiing here unforgettable.

Private booking outside Val d’Isère

As we are always in search of the best snow and new surroundings to explore, we offer special trips where a maximum of 2 or 3 people per car drive from Val d’Isere to nearby resorts to find the best snow. This allows us to enjoy the unlimited potential of off-piste skiing, heli-skiing or ski touring in Chamonix, 3 Valleys, Beaufortain, La Grave, Cervinia and Champoluc in Italy, Verbier and Zermatt in Switzerland and many more…

These programmes need to be agreed in advance between the group of skiers and the guide so that the necessary preparations can be made for the trip. We will take care of all the logistics including hotel reservations.

We accept a maximum of 6 people per group in order to organize these trips.

Off-piste skiing weeks «All including» in Val d’Isère

This coming season, we will be offering several “all inclusive” off-piste and ski touring weeks based out of Val d’Isère.

During the 5 days of skiing, we will show you the most beautiful off-piste routes the Tarentaise Valley has to offer.

Every day, from Monday to Friday, you will meet your guide at 8.45am for a day’s off-piste skiing in the resorts of Val d’Isère and Tignes but also Sainte Foy, Les Arcs, La Plagne or La Rosière and Italy depending on the weather forecast and snow conditions. The day’s skiing will end at about 4.30–5pm.

To get away from the busy slopes and find the best snow, we often walk with skins from the top of the ski lifts for 30 minutes to an hour or more if the group wishes.

Accommodation will be half-board in the 3-star hotel we work with in the centre of Val d’Isère.

If the group wishes, it will be possible, as an optional extra, to do one or two heli-drops on the Italian side.

Groups will consist of 6 people maximum.

At the beginning of the week, we will take the time to do an avalanche transceiver training exercise with the transceivers we provide you with if you do not have your own. You will also be able to watch a video presentation on snow and avalanches and on-snow safety over an aperitif one evening in our office.
